Twin City Shredder

Synopsis

The Twin City Shredder grew up in the nitty gritty, where Techno isn't just music, but a Religion. From Woody McBride to Paul Birken, DVS1 to Dustin Zahn, our city has bred many talents. With the bar set so high, there's no chance of "phoning it in". Heart hands are forbidden. Tasteless DJing is not welcome. Track selection and grace are your only options. It's time to turn it up, open your ears, and get connected. This is what you've been looking for.twincityshredderbooking@gmail.com

  • Time

    08/02/2020 Duration: 08min

Time is an element of life that controls how we act and how we think. Doing time, or more positively, putting in the time, lets us achieve things we didn't know we were capable of. Whether you've gotten your GED, while serving a sentence, or you've put thousands of hours into your passion, making the most of something we can't get back, is crucial to our well being as humans. Producing music, is something I've personally procrastinated on. When I think back 10 to 15 years, it's easy to get down on myself for not starting sooner. I really look up to all the producers. People who are interested in how it all works. For one, without you, I couldn't pursue my passion of DJing. Secondly, the amount of effort that goes into learning production is overwhelming, to say the least. Anything worth learning, is worth being terrible at for a while:)

  • Ground Hums Day

    19/12/2019 Duration: 01h14s

Sometimes I can't help but drift to the darker side of minimal and techno. It is my bread and butter. This set is technical, and bass heavy. Hence the title. Traktor was notifying me of ground hums, throughout most of this set. Blah blah, subs too close to the turntables, blah blah:) Sometimes I need to feel it, ya know?

  • Twin City Shredder - Day 1

    06/04/2019 Duration: 13min

This is the first project I've ever worked on. Overcoming the learning curve of Ableton is no easy task. Thankfully 10 years of mixing records has helped with learning how to structure a track. Learning something new and difficult is the only way to progress your skills as a human. This is my beginning into the production world. Thank you for listening.
